The terms on which Black Sea publishes this site, and how we handle what you send us.
Status
Black Sea is an independent AML/CFT and sanctions advisory firm. Legal advice, representation before a regulator or a court, and the filing of licence applications remain with law firms.
Each partner firm acts under its own engagement with the client, and a partnership gives neither firm any status of the other.
General information
This site gives general information on AML/CFT, sanctions and the rules of the markets it covers. Nothing on it is legal advice, and no client relationship exists until both sides sign an engagement.
Regulatory texts change. We state a rule here only where we can point to its published text, and we check dates and thresholds against the current text before we rely on them in an engagement.

What we collect
The form collects what you choose to enter: your name, work email, firm and role, the service, market, sector, licence status and timing you select, and your message. If you write to us directly, we keep that correspondence.
Why we use it
We use it to reply to you, to prepare a costed plan and to follow up on it. We do not sell it, we add no one to a mailing list, and we share it outside Black Sea only as far as needed to answer you.
Who processes it
The form reaches us through a form processor, and our email provider holds our correspondence.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no advertising cookies or trackers. Any analytics we run are cookieless and aggregate.
How long we keep it
We keep an enquiry and our reply for as long as we need them to answer you and follow up. We delete them when you ask, unless the law requires us to keep them.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Write to operations@blackseaspv.com.
